New for 2009!
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program
We are offering a CSA program for the 2009 season on the University of Louisville campus. Members will pick-up their baskets Thursdays between 3:30 and 6;00p.m. at Lutz Hall which is near the Center of Belknap Campus. The two share options are described below:
OPTION 1 - FULL SEASON SHARE
-each week members receive a 1/2 bushel of naturally grown (no chemicals or pesticides) fresh picked vegetables (roughly this will provide enough vegetables for 2 adults and 2 young children)
-pick-ups begin the last Thursday in May or the first Thursday in June and run for 20 weeks
-cost is $400.00 and payment is due by April 15th unless other arrangements are made
OPTION 2 - STUDENT SHARE (Fall Semester)
-each week members receive a 1/4 bushel of naturally grown fresh picked vegetables
-pick-ups begin Thursday, August 20th and run for 8 weeks, this is the week before Fall Semester classes begin
-cost is $120.00 and payment is due by April 15th unless other arrangements are made
*NOTE: Members are responsible for picking up their share each week on Thursday during the allotted time. Shares will not be held over from week to week.
