Here at Birdsfoot Farm, we wish to be a force for positive social and environmental change by offering naturally-grown heirloom vegetables and herbs, free-range eggs, pesticide-free honey and artisan breads and pies to the people of North Central Kentucky. Our customers appreciate the superior flavor and freshness of these foods, along with the good feeling they get from supporting a small-scale, family run, environmentally sensible operation.
Birdsfoot violet (Viola pedata),
Named for a small wildflower that covers our South facing slopes, we raise vegetables, herbs, native perennials, honeybees and chickens and have acres of high quality remnant prairie we use to collect native wildflower seed.
We offer our goods for sale at the Meade County Farmer's Market, INC . located at the UK Extension Office on Old Ekron Road in Brandenburg, Kentucky.
